Campaign Announcement in Essex Reporter
“Essex Junction is a vibrant, growing community that requires a strong and connected voice at the State House,” Dolan said. “As a Village resident for the past 14 years, I feel fortunate to say that Essex Junction is the community that showed me what community is all about. I am running for state representative to ensure Essex Junction continues to thrive and that all Vermonters have access to communities that support them to succeed. As I start my campaign, I look forward to connecting with more neighbors to strengthen our village.”
Voting is in full swing with hundreds of mail in ballots returning to the Essex Town Clerk each day. Local media resources are reaching out to candidates to gather perspectives on topics such as COVID-19 recovery, health care, education, and climate change.
This week, I shared my thoughts with The Essex Reporter and CCTV & Town Meeting TV. See the links below for the full pieces and please reach out any time with questions or to share your thoughts on issues. Community input is essential for decision-making and I am committed to involving as many voices as possible.
Thank you all so much for your energy, inspiration, and commitment to our Village. No matter the outcome of this Primary, I am fortunate for the experience to be more connected with my community. We have important work ahead!

Coming Together to Carry Our Village Voices to the State House
With less than a month until the August 11th Primary, I am reaching out to make sure everyone is ready to vote. Now is the time to make sure our voices are heard.
During the past couple of months, it has been inspiring to hear your priorities, stories, and vision for the future of our community. My motivation to run as a State Representative for Essex Junction is deeply rooted in my commitment to community engagement. The Village has provided so much for my family over the past 14 years. I look forward to the opportunity to use my skills and experience to give back in such a meaningful way.
These are challenging times as we navigate our way through racial injustice, COVID-19, and economic uncertainty. It has been heartbreaking to hear stories from friends and neighbors struggling to put food on the table, patiently waiting for unemployment checks to arrive, or finding out that their childcare has shut down permanently. I have also heard community members courageously voice their personal experiences of harm from racism or other hate. And others have expressed the general fear and anxiety they face as they try to do what they can to protect themselves and their families against COVID-19. Read More.....
